I am trying to find a copy of a book on Senufo proverbs by Timothy Garrard and Idrissa Soro. If anybody knows anything about this book, I would be grateful for the information.
All I know about it is what I found in this obituary for the late Dr. Garrarf on the Web:
"His later research led to a book in which, with the help of his assistant, Idrissa Soro, for six years he gathered and translated into French 2,000 Senufo proverbs under the title 'La Sagesse d'un Peuple'. This and other projects were upset by the civil war in Ivory Coast, which effectively brought an end to his African odyssey. Abandoning the copies of his newly published book, in 2002 he had to flee from Bouaké to the coast and thence to England"
